Our inner voice is a fragile thing- all at once it has to be open and sensitive to the outer world yet robust enough to keep its own snarling guardians in check-Those thoughts that light the fuse of destructive self-doubt or promote protective pomposity-yes it is in those solitary creative moments, when in the work (whatever it is), when purpose and meaning effortlessly unite that takes you by surprise and sustains your creative spirit! But without doing the work, these moments wonât happen.
