I have been slowly sorting through my unfinished work started in the 1980’s.

This has been done with some trepidation tempered by interest and excitement in discovering forgotten drawn moments with much mulling over whether to cull or resurrect.

Culling and saving

This is one of the resurrected works finally completed during February 2019. It is a collage combining three 1980 drawings with additional ink work, cut paper and canvas shapes on a paper base. The original drawings were drawn in ink using a brush followed by a water wash to provide texture and tone to the image.
